DragonOS and the work around it.

DragonOS is a free Linux distribution for software-defined radio, built for people who want to receive, decode, and understand what is moving through the spectrum. It is open, it is free, and it is where all of this started.

What is here

The distribution ships with a large set of SDR tools preinstalled and configured, so the setup work is already done and you can get to the actual experimenting.

The distribution. A ready-to-run Linux image with SDR software preinstalled and configured. Free to download and free to use, with no account required.

The wiki. Setup notes, tool documentation, and the accumulated answers to questions that come up repeatedly. Maintained alongside the releases.

Videos and walkthroughs. Demonstrations of specific tools and techniques, recorded against real hardware rather than described in the abstract.

The people. Researchers, amateur radio operators, students, and engineers who use the distribution and contribute back to it.

How this relates to WarDragon

WarDragon is a commercial drone detection product built on the same foundation, manufactured and distributed by Millenium Products. The two are related but separate: DragonOS stays free and open regardless of what happens commercially, and nothing on the commercial side requires anything from the community side.

If you are here for the distribution, that is the whole story and nothing is being sold to you.
