What WarDragon delivers against it

Event work is constrained by time and permission more than by budget. The system arrives with the team, works for the duration, and leaves nothing behind.

Set up and struck by the same team. A hardened carry case with external antenna and GPS connections, running on 12V or 24V DC from a vehicle or on 120V AC. Operational within minutes of arrival and packed down the same way.

Beyond Remote ID. Continuous monitoring across the standards drones actually use, including the control and video links flown by hand-built aircraft that never appear in Remote ID.

Repeat operators. Unique identifiers mean an aircraft returning on day three is recognisable as the same aircraft rather than as a new contact, which is what separates a nuisance from a pattern.

Open by design. Detections publish as CoT into the picture the security operation already runs. Where there is no existing system, routing options are configured as part of the deployment.

From DJI OcuSync through MAVLink, mLRS, and ELRS telemetry, WarDragon turns raw RF into identified aircraft and tracks. Encrypted DJI identification, including O4, is decoded with DragonScope. The library of supported standards grows with each software release, and every kit in the field receives it.

Specifying a system for event work

Event work is temporary by nature, so the Mobile configuration is the appropriate fit. It is deployed for the event, removed afterward, and requires no installation at the venue.

The Elite tier adds x86 processing and a second software-defined radio, covering more standards at once, including the control and video links used by hand-built aircraft. Open-ground venues attract exactly those aircraft, so Elite is worth specifying where that activity is expected.

Large-footprint and multi-stage sites are covered by shaping the antenna layout or deploying more than one node rather than by moving to a higher processing tier. Standard configurations reach up to 5 km, and high-gain configurations extend beyond 10 km under favourable conditions. Operators responsible for a permanent venue sometimes add a Drop-In system at their primary site.

Detection is included with the kit and stays included. There is no recurring fee to keep it running and no connection to our servers. DragonScope is a separate capability rather than an unlock: it decodes encrypted DJI identification, including OcuSync 4, so a flight resolves to a serial number, a pilot location, and a takeoff point. Organisations that need attribution add it. Organisations that need to know an aircraft is there do not.

Detection data belongs to the operation that collected it. It routes into the systems a security team already runs, carries no recurring fee, and needs no cloud connection, so it keeps working at venues with poor connectivity.
