The documents that govern a WarDragon purchase.

The Terms of Use and Product License Agreement governs every purchase, whatever the channel. The other three supplement it and apply according to what you have bought. They are published here in full so they can be read before an order is placed.

Terms of Use and Product License Agreement

The governing agreement for all WarDragon hardware, software, and services. Covers the licence granted with a system, permitted and prohibited use, compliance responsibility, warranty, and limitation of liability.

Every purchase, including through resellers and purchase orders. Accepted at checkout.

Sales and Shipping Terms

Order acceptance, pricing and payment, lead times, shipping and delivery, title and risk of loss, and the position on returns and cancellations.

DragonScope Service Agreement

Per-sensor licensing and device binding, term and renewal, the annual fee, service delivery and connectivity requirements, uptime targets, and handling of decode requests.

What is collected at checkout and through accounts, how payment information is handled, what licence and device data is retained to administer DragonScope, and what is processed in memory only.

Acceptance is recorded at checkout. These terms are accepted at purchase rather than negotiated. A Data Processing Addendum is available for organisations in jurisdictions that require one — use the contact form.

Radio spectrum and detection

Drone detection systems differ in how they work, and the differences carry regulatory consequences. This describes what a WarDragon system does technically.

It receives. It does not transmit. Detection is passive. The system listens to radio frequencies already in use by aircraft and their operators. It does not emit a signal for ranging, does not illuminate a target, and does not transmit toward an aircraft.

It does not jam, disable, or control. No WarDragon product performs jamming, spoofing, interdiction, capture, or any form of mitigation. Under federal law those measures are restricted to specific agencies with express statutory authority.

It reports; it does not act. Output is a detection record delivered to the systems the customer operates. Any decision or response is the customer’s, taken independently.

Identification comes from the aircraft. Remote ID is a signal aircraft are required to broadcast for public receipt. Where a WarDragon system reports an identifier, a position, or an operator location, that information is present in the transmission itself.

Federal agencies have published joint guidance on the laws that apply to acquiring and using drone detection and mitigation technology. The Interagency Legal Advisory on UAS Detection and Mitigation Technologies, issued jointly by the Department of Justice, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Federal Communications Commission, and the Department of Homeland Security, is the standard reference. It sets out the federal criminal statutes and the aviation and spectrum regulations that may apply, and notes that state and local law may apply in addition.

Whether a particular deployment complies with applicable law depends on who is operating the system, where, and for what purpose. That determination is the customer’s, and the Terms of Use says so. Nothing here is legal advice, and nothing here grants regulatory approval.
