WarDragon Pro is a compact, headless, SDR-based drone detection, RF sensing, and data integration platform built on DragonOS.
It is designed as a purpose-built sensing appliance rather than a general-purpose PC, combining dedicated radios, GPS,
and engineered software workflows into a unified, portable system.

WarDragon Pro bridges RF sensing, drone detection, and real-time data integration, enabling it to function both as a standalone
detection system and as an edge sensor node within larger situational awareness architectures.

Remote ID, DJI DroneID, and RF Detection

WarDragon Pro is designed to provide broad drone detection coverage across standard Remote ID methods while extending beyond
Remote ID alone through SDR-based signal analysis.

  • Bluetooth 5 Long Range (LR) Remote ID Detection: Supports extended-range Bluetooth Remote ID transmissions beyond standard advertising-based receivers.
  • Wi-Fi Remote ID (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz): Dual-band coverage for Wi-Fi-based Remote ID beacon detection.
  • DJI DroneID Detection: SDR-based detection and analysis of proprietary DroneID-related signals not broadcast as standard Remote ID.

High-Performance SDR and Spectrum Awareness

At the core of WarDragon Pro is a high-performance, general-purpose software-defined radio capable of monitoring RF activity
from approximately 70 MHz to 6 GHz.

  • Wideband spectrum monitoring and analysis
  • Detection and decoding of DJI DroneID for Ocusync 2 and most Ocusync 3 links
  • Detection of Ocusync 4 activity, with optional enhanced decoding support available through DragonScope services
  • General-purpose SDR experimentation, signal analysis, and research workflows

Depending on the selected kit variant and active workflows, the internal SDR may be reassigned to additional sensing tasks such as
ADS-B aircraft detection. Enhanced parallel workflows may require the addition of a second SDR. Multiple WarDragon Pro variants
are planned to support different mission sets, hardware configurations, and expansion paths.

FPV Analog Drone Detection and Model-Enhanced Workflows

WarDragon Pro is actively expanding to include analog FPV drone detection and model-enhanced RF analysis workflows.
These capabilities leverage digital signal processing and trained models to improve detection confidence, classification,
and signal understanding beyond simple energy-based methods.

Some advanced FPV and model-assisted detection workflows may require additional hardware resources, including a second SDR,
depending on the selected configuration.

TAK and Situational Awareness Integration

WarDragon Pro integrates with the TAK ecosystem, including ATAK, iTAK, WinTAK, and TAK Server, using Cursor-on-Target (CoT).

Data Integration, Automation, and Sensor Fusion

WarDragon Pro is designed not only to detect RF activity, but to ingest, normalize, correlate, and distribute sensor data
across multiple systems and workflows.

  • MQTT Support: Publish RF, drone, and system events to dashboards, alerting systems, and automation pipelines.
  • Kismet API Ingestion: Correlate Wi-Fi and Bluetooth detections with SDR-based observations.
  • Identifier-Based Correlation: Filter and match detections using Remote ID fields, protocol behavior, frequency, and signal characteristics.
  • Integration with External Platforms: Designed to function as an edge RF sensor within larger systems, including integration paths into TAK, Anduril Lattice, and other situational awareness platforms.
  • Civilian and Infrastructure Integration: Supports integration with Home Assistant and similar systems via MQTT or API-based workflows for alerting, logging, and visualization.
